数学、物理及一些科技领域使用了很多特殊符号，Unicode码中都有对应的码位，列出其码表，以方便使用。

有些符号可能无法正常显示，只会显示一个矩形框，说明计算机上没有相关支持软件，需要等到安装了相应软件才能使用。不过，将来能够支持的字符会越来越多，这是必然的趋势。使用Unicode字符时，在HTML中使用“&#xhhhh”形式，其中hhhh为4位十六进制的Unicode码，也可以转为10进制的码后使用“&#dddd”形式；在JavaScript脚本中使用，使用“\uhhhh”形式；CSS中使用时使用“\hhhh”形式。
